Lithium batteries are a class of batteries made of lithium metal or lithium alloy as a negative electrode material, using a non-aqueous electrolyte solution. 1912 lithium metal battery was first proposed and studied by Gilbert N. Lewis. In the 1970s, S. Whittingham proposed and started researching lithium-ion batteries. Due to the very active chemical properties of lithium metal, lithium metal processing, preservation, use, the environmental requirements are very high. Therefore, lithium batteries have not been long-term application. With the development of science and technology, lithium batteries have now become the mainstream.
